Scotland's new Carers Strategy was launched on 26 July 2010 and outlines support for carers and young carers for the next 5 years.  Carers Scotland has worked closely with the Scottish Government in developing this new strategy.

The full strategies are available for download below alongside examples of good practice and data analysis of carers in Scotland.  We have also produced a summary of headline actions.

For more information on the strategy including minutes of meetings and updates on progress of implementation visit the dedicated section of the Scottish Government's site at http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/Health/care/Strategy
