Learning for Living - On-line learning for unpaid carers

Information Day

Venue: Moray House, Holyrood Road, Edinburgh, EH8 8AQ

Date: Wednesday 27th August 2008

Time: 10:30am  to 3:00pm

You are invited to attend our information day about a unique on-line learning programme for unpaid carers.  The day will provide you with an opportunity to learn all about the programme and how you can access it.  You will have the opportunity to view a DVD where 4 unpaid carers, who stepped back into learning and undertook the course at Glasgow College of Nautical Studies, tell how it has changed their lives.

For those who wish, the programme can provide a City & Guilds accredited qualification: ‘The Certificate in Personal Development and Learning for Unpaid Carers’. All the evidence from carers who have participated in the programme is that it can restore confidence and enable you to plan for your future and take up new opportunities.  Read more about Learning for Living here.
