  • Facebook.  Set up a group, page or event on Facebook allows you to connect with hundreds of potential supporters www.facebook.com
  • You tube. Most phones and cameras allow you to shoot short films. This is agreat way to get over your issue. You tube allows you to share your footage. www.youtube.com
  • Blogs there are lots of free sites that allow you have a blog (or web log) which is an online diary where you can write about the progress of your campaign. www.blogger.com

  • www.theyworkforyou.com  shows you MPs voting habits and views on relevant issues.
  • www.directgov.gov.uk contains information on a full range of local and national services, including carers' benefits, social services departments, Government departments.
  • www.petitions.number10.gov.uk lets you set up a petition on any issue, which you can get people to sign up to online, and tell the Prime Minister about carers' concerns.
  • www.number10.gov.uk is the Prime Minister's website where you can see press statements, policy documents, Government consultations
