As a carer-led organisation, our members are our most important asset.  One of the ways they make their contribution is through the Carers Scotland advisory committee.

The members of the Committee are drawn from a wide range of backgrounds - carers of all ages and experiences and representatives of partner organisations such as Crossroads and the Princess Royal Trust for Carers.

Many of our Committee members are involved at a national and local level in increasing the role of carers as key partners in care and improving services for carers and cared-for people.

The Committee also plays an active role in supporting the work of the whole of Carers UK.  Two members of the Carers Scotland Committee serve as Trustees on the UK Board of Trustees.
